Description  With Le Rivage des Syrtes, Patricia de Nicolaï tackles the ubiquitous fruity floral for MDCI. The resulting fragrance is unmistakably a Nicolaï: the top notes are charged with a fresh verdancy that brings the orange to life. Pineapple serves as a novel source of sweetness and segues well into the sweet floral heart. As is customary for fruity florals, Le Rivage des Syrtes makes use of a white floral bouquet in the heart: candied orange blossom and sweet tuberose are paired with the tropical tang of ylang-ylang. A haze of vanilla, ambergris and musk soften the edges of the fragrance and persist into the drydown. If you like sweet fruity fragrances this one is for you.
