Description “My main inspiration for Splendiris came from a poem written by my father: “I write by the candlelight, wrapped in many layers of dreams.” I chose orris as the ideal raw material to base my composition on, due to the several olfactive layers it encompasses.

Splendiris features lush orris butter as its star ingredient, as luminous and splendid as a flowering field in full boom, surrounded by sweet citruses and precios florals (May rose, jasmine sambac, violet). With the color purple in mind, a color I strongly associate with dreams, I tried to highlight all the facets of my marvelous mian ingredient- floral, gourmand and earthy. With a base of vanilla, ambergris, and aromatic woods, I aimed for Splendiris to be altogether glamorous and mysterious, and as sensual as it is comforting.” -Pissara Umavijani
